Mission, Vision & Values

The principles that guide every decision we make — from how we write code to how we treat our clients.

"
Our Mission

To empower Kenyan and East African organisations with secure, scalable, and intuitive digital solutions that solve real problems, drive efficiency, and create measurable impact.

"
Our Vision

To be East Africa's most trusted software engineering firm — known not just for what we build, but for how we build it and the lasting partnerships we create.

Integrity

We are honest about timelines, costs, and what is technically possible. We do not overpromise to win business.

Excellence

We hold ourselves to global engineering standards. Average is not acceptable — in our code, our design, or our communication.

Empathy

We build for real people in real contexts. Every design decision starts with understanding the end user's world.

Partnership

We treat every client engagement as a long-term relationship, not a transaction. Your success is our reputation.

Ownership

We take full responsibility for our work. When something goes wrong, we fix it — no excuses, no blame-shifting.

Impact

We measure our work by real-world outcomes: faster services, lower costs, and more confident organisations.

The Story Behind Dewlon

"I built the company I wished existed when I was starting out."

Deuk Mose is a Kenyan software engineer who founded Dewlon Systems in 2019 after witnessing firsthand the frustration of local businesses trying to work with offshore developers who had no understanding of M-Pesa integrations, county government workflows, or the operational realities of running a business in Kenya.

Having worked across fintech, agritech, and public sector digitisation projects, Deuk understood that the gap wasn't technical talent — Kenya had plenty of that. The gap was a firm willing to combine that talent with genuine care for local context, honest communication, and a long-term commitment to clients after go-live.

Under his leadership, Dewlon has grown from a two-person team into a full-service digital studio trusted by organisations across Kenya and East Africa — with a reputation built entirely on reliability, transparency, and work that holds up.

How We Work

The six principles that define every project we take on — from discovery to long-term support.

01

Deep Discovery

We spend significant time understanding your actual workflows through interviews and process mapping before writing a line of code.

02

Human-Centred Design

Every interface is tested with real users. We prioritise clarity and mobile-first experiences that work on low-end devices.

03

Transparent Agile Delivery

2-week sprints, weekly demos, and full visibility. You stay in control at every stage. No black boxes. No surprises.

04

Knowledge Transfer

Training, documentation, and admin guides are included in every engagement — not add-ons you pay extra for.

05

Long-Term Partnership

Over 85% of our clients return for additional work or refer us to peers. We measure success in years, not project closes.

06

Security by Default

Every system follows OWASP standards and is tested for resilience before it goes live. Security is never an afterthought.
